I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix # K' A0 F& F6 F1 v3 i; p8 a/ C" k8 @5 ~! m
and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here # U: }+ n: h) ?# ^just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
